Membership Information

Membership 
Full: $300 biennial payment (two yearly) - payable January 2025
For professionals working as Hospital play Specialists in New Zealand, either within Te Whatu Ora - Health NZ or alternative organisation.  Full members have voting rights within the Association.  Note: Proof of employment may be required
 
Associate: $260 biennial payment (two yearly) - payable January 2025
For individuals or students from related professions, such as nurses or education staff etc, individuals previously employed as Hospital Play Specialists, or those who are interested in continuing to support the profession.
 
The HPSAANZ also offers Special Associate Membership to retirees and individuals currently on leave from the profession - such as mat-leave.  This special membership type is available by request only to the Executive Board. The cost is $40 per year. Please contact the Exec Board [email protected]  directly to apply for Special Associate Membership.

Membership Platform
In August 2021 we transitioned to a new Membership platform; Gecco.  Gecco allows us to track Membership, communicate with Members more fluidly and offer our Members more flexibility and control with their membership.  For more information about Gecco check out our FAQ page.
