HOSPITAL PLAY SPECIALIST - ADVANCED CLINICIAN

Advanced Clinician - Hospital Play Specialist Team, Starship Child Health

About the role
We are looking for an experienced clinician with proven clinical competence within paediatric practice to join our Hospital Play Specialist Team at Starship Childrens Hospital in a permanent, full-time or part-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience.

As Advanced Clinician you will collaborate with the Team Lead to support individual play specialists and the development of the play service. This is a leadership role and will incorporate hands-on support to develop practice, goals related to professional registration as both teachers and health professionals and collaborate and contribute to strategic decision making to strengthen our programme and practice. There is scope to develop creative and innovative ways of working for and with our tamariki and their whānau, and our MDT, to support better outcomes and more positive hospital experiences.
