Hospital Play Specialists Association, 6th Biennial Conference,
30th March - 1st April, 2012

You are warmly invited to the Hospital Play Specialists Association 6th Biennial Conference, to be held at Sudima Airport Hotel, Auckland, from 30th March - 1st April. Please note also the pre-conference Adolescent Study Day, on 29th March.

The 2012 conference programme has a strong emphasis not only on clinical skills but also on leadership and on enhancement of quality through reflective practice. The presenters - from New Zealand, Australia and the UK - bring a wide range of expertise and experience across disciplines, and a shared commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of children, young people and their families. 

We are confident that we have put together an exciting and challenging programme that has much of interest not only to hospital play specialists but also to allied health professionals, teachers and others.

This is a unique professional development opportunity, only offered every two years. It provides:

- a specific focus on the role of hospital play specialists
- evidence-based learning, updates on research

For some time, the HPSAANZ has been reviewing the Certification process and documents. Consultation has been extensive and resulted in several changes, including a change of name to the Registration process. These changes come into place from November 5 2011.

The new registration document and forms will now be available on the "Official Documents" tab of the website.
